Pharmacist

Fontana Pharmacy is inviting persons to apply for the position of Pharmacist at its Montego Bay Branch.

Qualification & Experience

• At least three (3) years work experience
• A Bachelors Degree in a relevant discipline, from a recognized tertiary institution
• Certification in Pharmacology
• Must be a Licensed Registered Pharmacist (at the time of application)
• Certification in Supervisory Management
• Motivated and excellent organizational skills
• Must be computer literate
• Must be customer service oriented

Role & Responsibilities

• Reviews and interprets physicians orders
• Provide consultation on presciption and non-prescription medications for storage, dosage, side effects and drug interactions
• Proper management of patient records and pharmacy files
• Provide quality professional customer service at all times
• Provid eadvice on selection of over-the-counter medications to treat common illnesses such as flu, cold sores or headaches
• Supervise pharmacy staff members including pharmacy technicians, pharmacy cashiers, etc.
• Maintain appropriate inventory on pharmaceutical and medical supplies
