Pharmacist
A leading manufacturing company which operates in the Kingston area is seeking to fill the below position: Pharmacist / Quality Control Officer.
Summary:
Oversee the regulatory/quality management activities of the department to achieve overall objectives
Requirements
- Bachelorʼs Degree in Pharmacy
- Registered with the Pharmacy Council of Jamaica
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in a similar capacity, ideally in the manufacturing & quality control environment
- High level of integrity, confidentiality and the ability to work on own initiative
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent human relations skills with the ability to work with internal and external persons at various levels.
- Experience in working with ISO 9001 would be an asset
Responsibilities
- Oversee the operations of the Quality Assurance Laboratory
- Manage the development and modification of the Quality Management Systems
- Review technical problems and procedures and recommends solutions where necessary
- Review and approve documentation as per Ministry of Health Guidelines
- Liaise with local regulatory agencies
