Applicants are invited for the post of Matron at the Hargreaves Memorial Hospital. A private hospital located in Mandeville, Manchester.

The Matron will report to the CEO.

Qualifications

Must be qualified as a nurse (Registered Nurse / Registered Mid-wife);
At least 10 years administrative experience;
Current Nursing Registration required.

Responsibilities

The Matron will be responsible for all nursing functions, including:

Training of nursing staff
Ensuring adequate nursing staff for all clinical needs
Maintaining the highest nursing standard
Performing regular audits of nursing functions
Preparing an annual plan and budget for the nursing department
