The Southern Regional Health Authority (SRHA), a Statutory Body under the Ministry of Health &  Wellness responsible for the management and  operation of Public Health Services within the  Parishes of Clarendon, Manchester and St.  Elizabeth, invites applications from suitably  qualified persons for the following position at  Clarendon Health Services:
DISTRICT MEDICAL OFFICER (HPC/MO 1) - (VACANT)
Salary range: $6,799,334 – $8,082,271 per annum and any applicable allowances

Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Medical Officer  (Health), the incumbent will be responsible for  providing high quality clinical services whilst  demonstrating current knowledge in public health  and assimilating best practices within the health  department and health centres. 

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical School
• Satisfactory completion of internship and  Senior House Officer Programme
• Registration with the Medical Council of Jamaica

Required Skills

• Sound basic clinical skills/acumen
• Good interpersonal skills
