Physiotherapist

The Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) invites applications from suitably qualified persons to be commissioned as an Officer and to be appointed to serve as a Physiotherapist in the Regular Force.

Requirements

• Be a Jamaican citizen
• Hold a Bachelor of Science Degree / professional 3 year Diploma in Physiotherapy from a recognized tertiary institution.
• Be a registered member of the Council for Professions Supplementary to Medicine.
• Have a minimum of two (2) years post internship experience.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and treatment of members of the Force and their families who are referred by a physician.
• Supervision of Physiotherapist students.
