Ultrasonographer
Established medical facility in Montego Bay, St. James requires an Ultrasonographer.

The Person
The individual should be ab active, skilled and well-rounded professional who is capable of effectively performing multiple ultrasound studies in an efficient and timely manner. The individual should be a customer oriented and capable of working with a team, demonstrate quality communication skills and be adaptable to change.
Requirements
- Minimum education - Bachelor of Science Degree
- Certification in Ultrasonography
- Licensed to practice
- BLS certification
- Experience in performing the following studies - abdomen pelvic obstetrics doppler small parts interventionals
Duties
- Evaluate and interpret requests
- Operate a variety of ultrasound units
- Input required patient data
- perform examinations
- Communicate with Radiologist and referring physicians
- Understand and be able to use a (DicomFix) Radiology Information System
- Understand and be able to operate a Patient Acquisition System (PACS)
- Provide on-call services
